Albert James Warkentin aged 75 of Morden, Manitoba passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Boundary Trails Hospital with his family at his side.
Albert was born in Winkler, Manitoba on October 20, 1949 to Isaac and Tina (Wiebe) Warkentin. He is survived by his wife Fran (Hiebert) of 55 years, daughter Brenda, son Jeffrey (Jennifer), two grandchildren Taylor and Amber, his brother Ed (Susan) and his nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by his parents, sister Ruth Ann (who died in infancy), sister Marjorie, brother John and brother-in-law John Voth.
Albert was self-employed as an electrician for many years and later in life he acquired his crane operator certification to work alongside his son Jeff.
Albert’s interests were many and family time was so special for him. He loved hosting Saturday weekly coffee time with the guys. A year ago he developed a passion for doing woodwork. He was the go-to guy who people often called for advice and was always to willing to help.

Cremation has taken place. A private service will take place with ash internment to follow at a later date.
