Allan was born July 11, 1936 in Baldur, MB. He married Doris Van Damme in 1963. The following year they moved to Maimi where Allan started his 33 year career with the RM of Thompson as a grader operator. Allan enjoyed his life in Miami. He volunteered many years in the Miami Fire Department, Miami Lions Club, as a baseball coach and packing down the racetrack for the horse races. He was also active in both Miami and Morden curling, loved camping, Belgium bowling, fishing, showing the 6 white mules with the Alexander stagecoach and mowing and tilling gardens for people.
Allan especially loved family and friends. He always had a smile for everyone and was quick to help someone out. He often put people ahead of himself.
He leaves to mourn his wife Doris, children: Rick (Sherrie), Karen and Morley, grandchildren: Nicole (Jason), Jackie (Curtis), Brayden (Emilie), Brenden, Rikki, Christopher, Craig, Courtney and Mia and great grandchildren: Emma, Nathan, Trent, Kinsley and Scarlotte. Sisters: Joy (Earl), Myrna and Bev (Harvey) and in-laws: Raymond (Rita), Andy (Johanne), Aime (Brenda) and Diane (Lloyd) and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Janet and Morley Tosh and step mother Katie, son in-law Henri LeBlanc and brother in-law Leo Dekezel.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Miami Event Centre (Ungers), #25055, RD 36W, RM of Thompson.
