Alvin Thiessen
August 7, 1952 - March 6, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alvin Thiessen on Friday March 6, 2026.
He was predeceased by his parents Cornie and Helen Thiessen, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters in infancy.
Alvin leaves to mourn his wife, Carol, his son, Garrett, his son Arlen and wife Mary, and, his granddaughter, Olivia.
He is survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters and their spouses and 1 sister-in-law, and their families.
He was a member of the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church all of his adult life, where he served in various ways.
He enjoyed life and all that it offered, never afraid to tackle a new project. He wanted to make a difference in the lives of others.
We as a family want to thank everyone that has reached out and prayed for us. We have felt each and every prayer.
Thank you to all who attended the accident scene, to Wiebe’s Funeral Home, Pastor Dean and Pastor Terry, and everyone who was a part in the service.
We pray for everyone involved in the accident and extend sympathy and grace to all.
