Amayalee Nunez, age 6 of Hoople, ND, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Sanford Hospital of Fargo, ND.
Amayalee was born on March 10, 2018 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Francisco Nunez and Azereth Garza. She grew up in Hoople, ND and attended school in Grafton where she was currently in the first grade. She brought joy to all who met her. She was the happiest kid, always with a smile and a “Hi.” She was talkative and curious and gave the best hugs. She will be forever missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
She is survived by her parents, Francisco Nunez and Azereth Garza, Hoople, ND, brother Damien Nunez, Hoople, ND, maternal grandparents Luis Garza and Maribel Gonzalez, paternal grandfather Francisco Nunez Sr., as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Maria Elena Nunez and great uncle Miguel Garza.
Private services will be held at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton.
