
Amy was born on May 6, 1971 in Jamestown, ND. A few days after her birth, she was transferred to the foster home of Leon and Bertha Moos. Within a short period of time, they fell in love with Amy and began the adoption process. In 1972, Amy officially became Amy Moos. Amy attended school in Jamestown and graduated from the Special Education program at Jamestown High School.
Although she lived with a learning disability, Amy often amazed people by her ability to remember birthdays, names, and directions to locations. She loved to cook and care for animals. She was especially fond of cats. Amy lived in Medina, Jamestown, Grand Forks, Mandan, and later Grafton, ND, where she resided at the Life Skills and Transition Center currently.
Amy is survived by one brother, Vergil (Judy) Moos, Detroit Lakes, MN and three sisters: Dianne (Larry) Freitag, Minneapolis, MN; Sandra (Reo) Fandrich, Medina, ND, and Linda (Alver) Rance. Springfield, MO; as well as many nieces and nephews. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Bertha Moos.
