Anfernee Lenoir Economy was born January 11th, 2000, in Devils Lake, ND. He joined the Economy family in 2005 and was officially adopted in 2012. Anfernee attended St. Alphonsus School and graduated from Langdon Area High School in 2018. He was talented in many different areas, including music and art, and Anfernee especially excelled in and greatly enjoyed athletics. An exceptionally proud moment for him was when the Langdon Cardinals took second place in the state football championship during his senior year. Anfernee was kind-hearted and quick to flash a charming smile. He was deeply loved and cherished by his family and friends. His son, Lincoln, was the love and light of his life.
Anfernee is survived by his son, Lincoln; parents Norm and Linda Economy of Langdon, ND; siblings: Jaclyn Economy of Fargo, ND, Matthew (Alleiy) Economy of Osnabrock, ND, Lucas (Danielle) Economy of Fargo, ND, Ariel (Drew) Simmons of Fargo, ND, Ruth Economy of Grand Forks, ND, Marcus Economy of Fargo, ND, Roger Economy of Minot, ND; grandparents: Duane and Nona Brinkman of Virginia, MN; biological parents Roger McKay II and Ashley Lenoir; and several other family members, including brothers: Xavier Lenoir, Dominick Bjornson and Cadence Laurie.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents: Norman and MaryAnn Economy and Norma Rainbow and brothers Jesse Economy and Adrian Knutson.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Emmanuel Evangelical Church in Langdon, ND. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. share service on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the church.
Anfernee passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the age of 24.
