Anne Sheppard

It is with deep sadness that the family of Anne Sheppard announces her passing at the age of 65 on Saturday, March 28, 2026 after complications following a heart surgery. Anne was born Annie Elias on May 10, 1960, in Winkler, Manitoba, to Jacob J. Elias and Helen Elias (née Fehr).
Anne grew up in Schanzenfeld along with her 8 siblings. She attended the Chortitz Old Colony Church with Jacob Neufeld whom she was married to from 1980 – 1989, and together they had three children. Anne was married to Barry Sheppard from 1997 – 2007 and together had one child.
Anne is survived by her children Loriesa Warenko (Mark), Janessa Fehr (Robert), and Kailey Sheppard; her daughter-in-law Laura Neufeld; and her seven grandchildren Jaxon, Zoelle, Scarlett, Anabelle, Coral, Brooks, and Lincoln.
She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Helen Elias, her brothers Jack and Peter, and her son Timothy Neufeld.
Anne will be deeply missed, but her strength and resilience, witty humor, and unwavering faith in Christ will leave a lasting legacy.
