Annie was born April 27, 1928 in Kane, Manitoba and in 1937 moved with her family to a farm in the Graysville area. Here she met her husband Fred, and they farmed in Graysville for many years before moving to Ogilvie in 1961 to operate a country store and post office. They later retired in Carman.
Mom enjoyed gardening, making jams and jellies and baking. The buns she baked were always a favourite. She made many quilts and gave them to her family. She loved playing games such as 500, cribbage and hearts. Bingo was a favourite pastime enjoyed with family and friends for many years.
Family was extremely important to her and a large meal surrounded by family with pie for dessert followed by a game of 500 was her joy.
During her lifetime she was able to take many trips (England, Hawaii, Phoenix to name a few) which she really enjoyed.
Thank you to the Boyne Lodge staff for their compassion and care of our mom. Also, thank you to the Foyer in Notre Dame de Lourdes for all your care and kindness.
