Audrey Bernice Hoeppner (nee Ridley)
October 15, 1928 - June 10, 2023
Audrey Bernice Hoeppner was born October 15, 1928 in Cavalier County, North Dakota. Her parents were Clifford and Edith Ridley (nee Rouse). Mom's younger brother Lyle was born in 1929. When she was a teen the Ridley family took up residence in Morden MB; Grandpa and Grandma worked at the Morden Research Station.
She will be greatly missed by her children: Darrel (Gloria), Debra (Ernie), and David (Julie), along with grandchildren: Michelle, Maurice, Brent, Renee, Lukas, Delaney, Parker and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Abe in 1999 and had enjoyed 52 years together.
Audrey was part of the Morden Pentecostal Church (now Christian Life Centre) The friends she and Abe made there were very important to them. They were long serving members of the Gideons as well. She enjoyed old time Gaither Gospel hour music, gardening and keeping tabs on her family.
Mom passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023 with family at her side - no more pain and suffering.
The family wishes to thank Mavis, Haylana, Joy, and all the wonderful Staff at Tabor Home in Morden who cared for mom during her time there.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday June 14 at Wiebe Funeral home chapel in Morden from 1-8pm Everyone is welcome to sign the guest book and pay your respects. A private family only burial will take place at a later date.
