Bernard Albert “Bert” Dyck

Bernard Albert “Bert” Dyck was born on October 26, 1934, near Kronsgart, Manitoba, to Gerhard and Katharina Dyck. He passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025.
Bert was predeceased by his parents, Gerhard and Katharina Dyck, and by his beloved wife, Velma, in 2006. Together, Bert and Velma made their home on a farm in the RM of Roland, near Kronsgart, where they raised their family and built a life rooted in faith, farming, and church community. In 1999, mom and dad moved to Winkler and when mom passed away, dad moved into Buhler Active Living Centre where he remained until his passing.
He is survived by his three children:
• Charles (Audrey)
• Virginia (Milton) and their children Kaitlyn (Craig), Cam (Tamara), Tyler (Emily), and Jesse (Lauren) and their families
• Myron (Connie) and their children Abby, Andrew (fiancée Jayden), and Xander
A funeral service for Bert Dyck will take place at Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place prior to the service.
Memorial donations made be given to Winkler Bible Camp.
