Surrounded by family on Tuesday August 5, 2025, Blake passed away in the Carman Hospital at the age of 87.
Blake, son of Hart and Audrey Phillips of Roland, will be lovingly remembered by the legacy that he built. Along with the countless homes in our community, he built a beautiful life with his wife of 45 years, Peg (predeceased). Together, they raised sons Rick (Cindy) of Winnipeg, and Cam (Cheryl) of Carman. Blake was proud of his grandchildren, Cole (Lisa) and Cassidy, who will always be inspired by his devotion to his family and work ethic.
He was predeceased by his brother, Doug of Roland.
The Phillips family offers their appreciation to the nursing staff of the Carman Hospital for their compassion. Blake appreciated the care that they showed him.
A private graveside service will take place on Tuesday, August 19, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Carman, which will be followed by a reception at 12:00 p.m. at the Carman United Church. The reception is open to all who wish to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Blake’s memory to Carman Palliative Care.
