Gerry and Diane lived in the community of Fannystelle MB, where they started a trucking business and farmed. Although he lived in Fannystelle, Gerry had many friends and business associates all over the countryside, he was a friend to all he met. When he was not taking care of the farm animals or working on the farm, you would find dad out and about having coffee with friends or watching one of the grandchildren’s sporting events, especially hockey games. Dad would travel near and far just to go watch his children and grandchildren and show how much he supported them in their events. Dad also liked to spend time at the many different Cattle Sale Barns in Manitoba, where he would chat with fellow farmers about the livestock. He was passionate about farming, whether he was out feeding the animals, reading the Manitoba Co-operator, or debating with you about grass fed beef. He would share his passion with all his friends and family.
Our family would like to thank the Heart and Failure Clinic of Winnipeg, the St. Boniface Hospital 5th. Floor Cardiac Care Unit and Dr. J. Villeda for the care they have provided to dad.
