Chaslyn Julia DeJaegher, born October 16, 2014, and taken from us far too soon on January 9, 2026, at the age of 11.
To know Chaslyn was truly to love her. She was a bright and beautiful soul whose smile could warm any room and whose laughter was completely contagious. Chaslyn had a kind heart, a curious spirit, and a way of making everyone around her feel seen and cared for—wisdom and compassion well beyond her years. Wherever she went, she carried joy with her, whether she was spending time with her family, playing with friends, or simply being her wonderful self.
Chaslyn was known as the very best hugger, and those hugs—full of comfort, love, and warmth—will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to receive one.
Though her time with us was short, the love Chaslyn gave and the light she shared will live on forever in our hearts. We were so blessed to have known her, and she will always be deeply loved and remembered.
She was the third born daughter of Colin and Crystal DeJaegher (Greenham) and a beloved sister to Jeri-Lynn and Hadley. She leaves behind her loving grandparents Larry and Denise DeJaegher, Cynthia and Leonard Holm, as well as many aunties and uncles—both by blood and by choice—cousins, friends, teachers, and all whose lives she touched.
Chaslyn is at peace in heaven, reunited with her Auntie Kimmie Greenham, her Poppy Kenneth Greenham, and other dearly loved great grandparents, aunts, and uncles who are gone but never forgotten.
