During his eight years at Salem he made many lasting relationships. One very special person in David’s life was Mr. Abe Penner. David looked forward to their weekly coffee visits which always included a wagon wheel.
The staff on Evergreen became David’s family. He knew each one of us by name and always greeted us with a smile.
David enjoyed his daily bowl of chips, glass of coke, and a chocolate bar, Wheel of Fortune, Three’s company, and Western Movies.
David, your Evergreen family will miss you very much. Though our hearts are broken, “we take comfort in knowing you are resting in the arms of the lord”.
David, my friend, I will miss you and your genuine smile!
