It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, husband, father and grandfather.
Dad’s survived by his wife, Alexis, children; Chris, Lisa (Craig), Shauna (Chad), Erin (Ainsley) and grandchildren. Sister; Betty (Vic), Barb (Met) and sister-in-law Elaine as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dad was predeceased by his parents, Kelly and Frances, brother, Jim, and granddaughter, Lauren.
Dad spent his entire life farming. Dad loved farming but his passion was cattle, dad helped establish and grow the Simmental breed in Manitoba.
Dad loved being outside working or just puttering. He enjoyed his big garden and took great care tending it.
Just this last May, Dad and Alexis moved off their farm into Carman but dad could still see the fields and putter in the big yard.
Dad passed away at Carman hospital after a stroke. We would like to thank the staff of BTHC and especially Carman hospital for the kind, compassionate care.
The service will be held in the chapel at Doyle’s Funeral Home Thursday, November 20th at 11:00 a.m.
