Dennis S. Czapiewski, age 73 of Grafton, passed away on Sunday June 2, 2024 at Justin (Melissa) Czapiewski’s residence in Casselton, ND.
Dennis Stanley Czapiewski was born August 1, 1950 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Stanley and Lorraine (Byzewski) Czapiewski. He attended and graduated from Grafton High School. He then went on to become an iron worker for 2 years after he spent most of his career as a mechanic for Gene’s repair of Gilby. Dennis enjoyed the outdoors camping, fishing, spending time with family and friends, gardening, smoking meats, canning, and cooking homemade meals.
Dennis started a family with Roxane Moen having two sons Jamie and Justin. He later married Norma Vondra becoming a Stepfather to Chris Vondra.
Dennis is survived by Norma (Vondra) Czapiewski, Grafton, ND; his sons: Jamie Moen, Casselton, ND; Justin (Melissa) Czapiewski, Casselton, ND; Chris Vondra, Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren: Mason Moen, Bronson Moen, Broque (Robert) Lopez, Damyn (Karie) Czapiewski, Ashton Czapiewski, Maddyx Vondra; two great grandchildren: Paisley and Vaeda; his sisters: Diane (Leigh) Brandt, Grafton, ND; Elaine Mohagen (Dennis Gallaway), Grafton, ND; Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Frances (Jack) Pletcher, grandchild Triston Moen and mother of children Roxane Moen.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Grafton, ND.
