Mildred Ellen (nee: Eby) McEachern
September 13, 1931 - July 18, 2024
Ellen passed away peacefully at the Boyne Lode at the age of 92.
Ellen leaves to mourn her daughters, Heather (Lloyd McKague), Gloria (Scott Patchett), Brenda, 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great/great grandchildren, a brother Alvin Eby (Barb), brother in laws, Don McEachern (Susan) & John Murray, sister-in-law Barb Brown, and many nieces/nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Doug (2013), parents Clayton/Katherine, brother, Lyle (Phyllis), and sisters, Shirley (Corky Steeves) & Madeline, parents-in-law, Pete/Cora McEachern, sister-in-law Lois (Stan Colpitts).
Doug and Ellen were married May 1954 and started a family shortly after. Mom filled her life with baking, canning, quilting, sewing and gardening. Mom enjoyed the many bus trips during the years and especially the 3 train trips with her daughters.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the amazing staff at the Boyne Lodge for the care and kindness shown to our mom over the past years and the last few weeks.
Private graveside service will be held. Memorial donations may be made the Carman Boyne Lodge
