
Elma Klippenstein (nee Loewen)
1952 ~ 2023
Elma was born December 17, 1952 in Santa Clara Chihuahua, Mexico to William & Hilda Loewen (nee Goossen). Elma was baptized upon the confession of her faith in the spring of 1972 by Bishop Abram Friesen in the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church at Santa Clara Mexico.
September 19, 1971 Elma married the love of her life Edward Klippenstein. This marriage of 51 years, 11 months and 23 days was blessed with one son Elmer and one daughter Alvina. They immigrated to Canada in 1994
Elma’s unwavering faith carried her thru until the moment she passed into her eternal glory to be with Jesus her Lord and Saviour.
Elma loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, bird watching and travelling to various places.
She passed away September 12, 2023 at Boundary Trail Health Center, 2:30PM at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 26 days.
Elma was predeceased by her Son-in-law Willie Abrams, her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. - She leaves to mourn her passing, one son Elmer & Trish and their daughters Briah and Kara. One daughter Alvina and her son Leonard. She is also survived by 2 brothers, 1 sister, 7 sister-in-law and 4 brother-in-laws.
We sorrow not as those who have no hope but fully believe that she has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to enjoy the beauty of heaven for evermore.
