She was born in Winker to John and Marge Wieler on June 5, 1960; and baptized at the Stephenfield Sommerfeld Church on June 5, 1979.
Eunice started her school years in Miami, and then on to high school at the Carman Collegiate.
She spent her growing up years along side her only brother Harvey on their parent’s farm near Stephenfield Manitoba. They had many adventures that farm life allows for growing children. She enjoyed animals and pets, owning a pony at one point. She became capable of doing chores including hand milking cows which she had done on occasion on her own to surprise her parents who were away one Sunday.
This was an era of visiting and having company; so many times, were spent with relatives and family friends. Eunice loved playing games and leading cousins for a ride on her pony.
After Eunice was done with schooling; it was time to enter the work force. Her parents sold the farm and moved to Winkler and Eunice worked at several different places. This included various Restaurants, The Log Cabin, Tim Hortons and others, as well as Walmart.
She was able to purchase her own living accommodations; and lived in several different homes as were suitable. Her last home was in the Cedar Estates where her parents were also located. This was a good move allowing her and her parents easier access for visits as mobility and health issues became greater. Eunice’s health deteriorated greatly over the recent years causing her to be much more confined to her home.
Family wishes to thank all the Home Care Workers, and Health Care providers who assisted in her allowing her to continue to stay in her home. Also thank you to the friends and relatives who came to visit or phone. These were highlights of her day.
Eunice was predeceased by her Brother Harvey in 2002; Mother Marge in 2022; her Grandparents and several Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
She leaves to mourn her Father John; Sister in Law Faye Wieler, Niece Rebecca (Aimé), Nephew Darren (Sabrina), 2 great nieces Erica and Krysten; and 2 great nephews Shawn and Owen.
