Gordon Leslie Salway
August 15, 1932 - August 27, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Dad was born in Spy Hill, Saskatchewan, and later moved to Miniota, Manitoba. In 1952, he started working for Manitoba Hydro and continued on for 37 years until his retirement. While stationed in Falcon Lake, he met Violet Litke, and in 1960, they were married and moved to Morden. In 1962 daughter Sandra was born. Daughter Judy in 1965.
He was predeceased by his three brothers, Ray, Owen and Ed.
He is survived by his wife, Violet, of 65 years. His daughter, Sandra, and grandchildren, Christel, Brittany (Bryan), Matthew, and Brookelynn. Daughter Judy (Mike) and grandchildren Jayme (Ashlee ), Chelsea (Kyle) and great-granddaughters Charlotte and Violet.
