Harvey Glen Friesen
October 18, 1965 – December 9, 2025
Born in Carman, Manitoba, on October 18, 1965, Harvey Friesen spent his entire life in the community he loved. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Betty Friesen, and his sister-in-laws Eileen and Celia.
Harvey is survived by his children:
Catherine and her husband Ryan and their children Brooklyn, Morgan, and Linnea;
Stacey and her husband Jason and their children Ulla and Oliver;
Glen and his wife Katelyn and their children Gunner and Jase;
Brad and his wife Veronica
His siblings Bert (Sharon), Linda (Vic), Bob, and Connie (Garvin), many nieces, nephews and their families,
Harve was a man of few words, though he made them count. He was kind, thoughtful and loved to share a laugh. He was happy to lend you a hand, or a tool, or an ear. He always kept busy with wood working projects, like building chairs for around the fire, raised garden beds for his tomatoes or cabins in the woods. He enjoyed his peace and quiet, but he always appreciated a visit from his family and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at Carman Memorial Hospital for their kind, compassionate care, as well as to the team at Boundary Trails Cancer Care for their support throughout his journey.
At his request, no formal funeral arrangements will be made.
