Ike Dueck of Winkler MB, formerly of Gnadenthal, went to be with the Lord peacefully at Boundary Trails Health Center.
Ike was son of Jacob P and Maria (Wall) Dueck. He is survived by his daughters Maxine and Emily and grandchildren Travis, Mackenzie, Sebastian, Faith, Cheyenne, Wyatt and 6 sisters, 4 brother-in-laws, 1 brother and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and 2 brother-in-laws.
Ike dealt with long term medical issues and had been hospitalized for past 2 months at BTHC.
Ike will be remembered for his wonderful smile and cheerful greeting to everyone he met and especially for his love for his daughters and grandchildren as well as rest of his family and friends. He will be missed.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at BTHC, Homecare staff, Wiebe’s Funeral Home and anyone else that cared for Ike throughout his illness.
