Dad married the love of his life, Katharina Penner July 5, 1969. They started a life in Mexico where
they had 10 children, 7 girls and 3 boys.
Tragically after 15 years of marriage our mom (Katharina)was killed in an accident on September 16th, 1983.
Their children together were:
Helen (Cornie) Harms 3 boys Chase (Chantelle), Johnny (Connie) Harms. Children, 2 girls, Arabella, Emery.
Danny Harms.
John (Maria) Harder.
Henry (Elena) Harder
4 children: Alex, Albert, Rachel and Heidi.
Marge and (John) Unger
4 children, Jonah Unger. Matthew (Chelsea) Unger, Nathan and Esther.
Tina (John) Neufeld 7 children: Vickie (Riley) Banman, Michael (Claudette) Neufeld 2 children: Ashton and Paisley.
Bradley (Lena) Neufeld 2 Boys: Oliver and Ezekiel.
Adam, Tamara and Solara.
Abe (Susan) Harder 6 children: Linda (Conrad) Ayala. 1 daughter. Siobhan. Jonathan (Andrea) Harder.
Vanessa, Amanda, Kaitlyn and Tobias.
Sara (Henry) Klassen 4 children: Jessica, daughter: Josephine.
Jennifer (Henry) Neudorf 1 daughter: Amiah.
Brian and Britney.
Susan (John) Wall 4 children: Rebecca (Chris) Reimer 2 children: Colton and Amaylia.
Eric, Keira and Tiffany.
Judy (Frank) Friesen 3 children:
Ashley, Michael and Janelle (Frank) Quiring.

Logan and Jasmine.
Then March 11, 1984 Dad married Anna Guenter.
Dad wanted a better life for us than he’d had, he gathered his children that were separated from him and then moved his family to Manitoba that same year.
Anna also had a daughter Eva who did not move to Canada with us.
Together they had 4 children: 1 boy and 3 girls. The first born, a boy, Aron passed away in infancy in 1985.

Angelina, Shania, Chloe, Montana, Josiah, Elijah, Cara, Naomi, and Ruby.
Annie (Frank) Martens 4 girls:
Samantha, Hannah, Kayla and Brianna.
Lisa (John) Teichroeb 3 boys: Keegan, Aiden and Dylan.
He’s predeceased by his wife Anna our mom who passed away of cancer in October 26, 2022. After 38 years of marriage.
Dad was predeceased by one son-in-law John Neufeld August 3, 2024.
Dad worked at Integra castings for several years. Then started at Monarch industries worked there for 28 years.
Dad enjoyed travelling to Ontario and working on fields with his family. Before we all married, Dad loved taking his family to Mexico for visits.
Dad absolutely loved fishing, and went any opportunity he got.
After dad retired from Monarch industries he began volunteer work at MCC In Winkler, there he got to tinker around with bikes that he really enjoyed.
He really enjoyed taking care of his yard and garden. He also enjoyed using the many tools he collected over the years. In his younger years he loved building tables, benches, puzzles, cutting boards, and mail organizers that he enjoyed sharing with others.
In 2023, Dad accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour Which we are very blessed for.
Dad wanted to share his new found faith and joyfully wanted to share the gospel.
Dad passed away at the age of 76 on November 17, 2024, peacefully with most of his children by his side at the Boundary trails Hospital.
Dad was so loved and will be so missed.
He also leaves behind 4 Brothers, two sisters and their families and friends.
We as family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, home care, palliative care team for their care for dad.
Thank you for all your support during this difficult time.
Dad will be greatly missed until we meet again!
