
Wolfe at age of 83. He was born in Mexico July 29, 1940.
Jake Wolfe was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He
dedicated his life to working hard at times working 2 full time jobs just to provide
for his family and cherished spending time with his loved ones.
He is survived by his children: Helen, Kathy (Harvey), Abe (Andrea), Frank, Johan,
Susana (Andy), Peter, 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, his sisters
Susan(Abe) Dyck, Betty Nagorski, and brothers John(Agatha), Isaac(Kathy) Wolfe.
He was predeceased by his wife Helen(nee Buekert) Wolfe, and his second wife
Netty(Dyck)Wolfe whom he had 7 wonderful years with as well and his son Jake
Wolfe, his brothers Aaron, Abraham, Peter, Pete, and his sisters Sarah, Maria,
Helen, and Anna.
Dad had 2 major strokes, the second one was worst to the point of having him
paneled and placed in a personal care home at Manitou, Tabor in Morden and
then his final place of residence at Mennonite Bethania House he received
excellent care in all 3 facilities. We as a family would like to thank all the amazing
staff in all 3 facilities.
Funeral service will be held at Chortitz Old Colony Mennonite Church in the village
of Chortitz, at 2:00pm, Saturday May 18 th , 2024. With interment to follow and
faspa/lunch will be served following interment.
Rest in peace, Jake, DAD, GRANDPA and GREAT-GRANDPA. Your memory will
forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
