Jeffrey Wynn Anderson, 73, passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2026 with his loving family caring for him. He was born on April 13, 1953 in Grafton, ND to Russell and Gudrun (Goodie) Anderson.
Jeff is survived by his father, Russell Anderson; his wife, Brenda Anderson; his children, Jason Anderson and Lindsay Anderson; and his beloved grandson, Camden Stoltman. He is also survived by his brothers, Jerome Anderson (Debra), Rick Anderson (Ruth), and Randy Anderson (Carol); his sister, Sandra Peterson (Arnie); his father-in-law, John Bartholomay; his brother-in-law, Barry Bartholomay (Cindy); his stepfather-in-law, Frank Thompson; his stepbrothers-in-law, Darren Thompson (Jean) and Kelly Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and other extended family all of whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gudrun (Goodie) Anderson; his mother-in-law, Jo Thompson; and other cherished members of his family.
Jeff was a proud farmer whose love for the land defined much of his life. He found great joy in caring for the farm and took immense pride in the work it represented. Jeff farmed for many years with his father, Russell, brother, Randy and nephew, Corey and then on his own. He retired in 2020 after being diagnosed with thyroid and prostrate cancer. He had some treasured time with those who worked for him over the years, lovingly called the Belltone crew with over 400 years of experience.
He enjoyed spending time on the golf course with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come. When able Jeff would golf every day with his buddies at the Cavalier Country Club and in AZ at San Tan Highlands Golf Course.
Jeff was also deeply proud of his Icelandic heritage and faithfully served his church community at Vidalin Church besides being a member at United Lutheran Church.
Those who knew Jeff will remember him as a caring, kind, generous and loving man who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Above all, Jeff's greatest joy was his family. He would do anything for his family and during his illness was more worried about them then himself. He hated to leave them. His love, quiet strength, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at United Lutheran Church. A Celebration of Life will follow from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cavalier Country Club. In lieu of flowers, please do something kind for others.
