Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at 11AM on Monday June 26, 2023 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden followed by a private family interment at Hillside Cemetery. Donations may be made in Joyce's memory to the BTHC Foundation designated to Palliative Care.

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Wife, Mother, Grand-Mother and Great Grand Mother Joyce Major, on Sunday June 18, 2023. During a lengthy and courageous battle, it never once stopped her from living her life.
Joyce was born in Carman, MB to Charles and Nora Main and raised there, along with her brother, Reg.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Elie Major. They were blessed with 4 children, Randy (Loretta), Dwayne (Ginette), Tracy (Brad), Charlie, as well as 10 Grand Kids, Desare, Breyanne (Michael), Stephanie (Chad), Rylie (Kaitlyn), Brooklyn (Ryan), Sydney (Chase), Courtney (Seth), Bradley, Lacey, Alex and 8 Great Grand Kids. She was also very fortunate to have had numerous brother and sister In-Laws as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Nora (Knowles), brother Reg, In-Laws Wilfred and Louise (Deforel), and one brother In-Law Steck.
We the family, would like to thank the incredible staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre –Palliative Care for their wonderful care and compassion.
