With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Mom, Judy Orchard, on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Boundary Trails Health Centre at the age of 80 years. After 14 months apart, she has been reunited with her husband of 58 years, Grant.
Mom had a great passion for many things in life – ice cream, golf, curling, cards, lake life, water fights and anything that was fun, especially if it included time with her family and friends. Some of her favourites to spend time with were her 3 children, Rob (Karen), Mike (Rachelle) and Ang (Marc) Grenier; her 5 grandchildren Braden, Chad (Jenna), Taylor (Nathan), Shelby (Eric) and Branson; her great grandson Kacey; her sister Donna (Jim) Moreton and her niece and nephew Carolyn and Rick. She will also be reunited with her grandson Darrin and her parents Robbie and Hazel Bell.
Mom was born on October 29, 1944 and lived in Miami until 2019 when her and Dad moved to Morden. Mom spent her life focused on her family and also did some hairdressing out of her house and at Collingwood Senior Home for a number of years.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care team at Boundary Trails Health Centre and all the caring nurses and doctors on the medical ward who provided her care for the 52 days she spent there. Thanks also to Dr. Braun and all the outpouring of support we have received in our loss.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miami Event Centre.
