It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, grandma, sister and friend. On Thursday June 9, 2022 at 6:37 p.m. our Mom slipped peacefully into eternity with her four daughters next to her hospital bedside.
Mom was predeceased by both her parents, ten siblings, her husband, Jacob H Knelsen in 2011, her daughter-in-law, Angela Renee Knelsen in 2013, and twin daughters, Mary and Margaret in 1978 in infancy.
She leaves to mourn her passing, four daughters, Anna (Dan) Hiebert, Tina (Randy) Penner, Lynn (Clarence) Reimer, Nancy (Scott) Graham, one son, Jake (Alyssa) Knelsen, 14 grandchildren: Branden (Brooklyn), Mitchell and Austin Hiebert, Houston, Noah and Dawson Penner, Austin, Jasmine, Teagan and Phoenix Reimer, Christian and Isabella Graham and Megan and Jordan Knelsen, one brother, Henry Klassen, (Alberta), two sisters-in law, Nettie (Abram) Friesen (Texas) and Nettie Knelsen, (Texas) and many nieces and nephews and friends. We do not mourn as those who have no hope, for we will meet again. Till then we love you, Mom.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mariam Basta and Dr. Moheb Basta and Dr. Melissa Bulloch. Also, thank you to the staff at Altona Hospital, BTHC and HSC and the EMS for the wonderful care our Mom received. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Eastview Place in Altona.
