Lena Unrau
September 26, 1936 - July 13, 2026.
On July 13, 2026, our loving mother Lena Unrau passed away peacefully at the age of 89 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. Mom Lived a long and fulfilled life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mom loved camping, traveling, spending time in her garden with Dad, and baking goodies for everyone. Kids favorite was her Jam-Jams.
She leaves to celebrate her life;
Daughter Linda (Ron) Kenyon, Son Larry, daughter Debbie (Dennis) Dueck, and son Allan (Sandra) Unrau. Grandchildren Grant, Shawn, Stephanie, Aaron, Courtney. Great Grandchildren Ian, Alyssa, Deanndra, Kyle, Kolbin, and Luke.
Lena was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter and her granddaughter Pam.
The family would also like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on July 17 at the Carman United Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lena’s name to Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba or to Cancer Care Manitoba.
