Leroy W. Glaser, 82, of Grafton, ND passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the Unity Medical Center in Grafton.
Leroy was born July 12, 1941, in Fargo, ND. He resided at home with his family until March of 1949 when he came to the Development Center in Grafton. In 1991 he moved into a group home with REM-ND.
In his younger years, his days were busy maintaining candy machines, helping with the recycling program in Grafton and spending time at CHI Friendship Center. He enjoyed listening to music, his magazines and books, sweets, and trips to Hardee’s with soda pop!
Leroy will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willford (Bill) and Lorraine Glaser, sisters Carolyn Mahoney and Charolette Charles, brothers, Charles and Virgil Glaser. He is survived by his nieces and their families in Alaska, guardian for many years Jeanne and family of Grand Forks, ND and his extended family and care providers at REM in Grafton, ND.
Memorial Services will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at the All Faith’s Chapel of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at the Watson Cemetery, Leonard, North Dakota.
