Lorne was born November 3, 1943 at Walhalla, ND to Amie and Alma (Graveline) Tetrault. He spent his early years in Walhalla, until his family moved to Langdon, ND, where he worked various jobs. On June 23, 1962, he married Judy Gellner at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon. He worked as the fertilizer manager at Farmers Union in Langdon and then was general manager at Farmers Union in New Rockford, ND for a few years. They returned to Langdon where Lorne and Judy owned and operated the Bread Pan Bakery, and he was also the general manager of Farmers Union Oil in Langdon, until his retirement.
Loren loved spending time with his family, fishing, four wheeling, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting and school events. He was a member of the Langdon Fire Department, where he served as Fire Chief and was also a member of the Langdon Eagles 3454.
He is survived by his children: Lori (Kevin) Roy, Langdon, ND, Lorna Pederson, Grafton, ND, Barbara Tetrault, Fargo, ND, and Marty Tetrault (Angie Sanders), Langdon, ND; grandchildren: Anthony (Mauri), Alexa (Nick), Amy (Brandon), Steven (Katie), Alexander (McKayla), Grant, Cole, Ashton, Conner (Jordyn) Corissa, Carter, Halle, Jake; great-grandchildren: Levi, Emmitt, Ivan, Ella, Emma, Hannah, Avery, Madison, Erika, Isla, Isaiah, Franki, and Lincoln. Also surviving are his siblings: Elaine Dunnigan, Wally Tetrault, and Shirley Delvo, sisters-in-law: Mary Ellen (Ken) Heck, Agnes, Donna, and Lola Gellner, brother-in-law, Ray Peloquin, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, Judy, and sister, Della Peloquin.
