Marian was born on July 2, 1927, to Peter and Mary (Derksen) Brown the second of five children at their home South of Morden in the Glencross District. She was always known as Eileen growing up and into her adult life.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Diane of South River, Ontario, sister, Lucy (John), her niece Sharon, nephew Douglas (Lynda), and great nephews Shaun and Mathew, great nieces, Emily and Stacy (Kevin) children, Jenessa, Kaitlyn and Lacy, 8 stepchildren and their families and her caregivers Eleanor and Jake along with friends.
She was predeceased by her first husband Donald Drinkwalter, her second husband Peter Wall, her brother Menno, sisters Lavina and Dorothy, nieces Lorraine and Rhonda, nephews Darrell and Brian, brother-in-law Neil and nephew-in-law Lawrence.
Marian was baptized at age 16 in a pond near where she grew up. Having her brother Menno come down with Polio meant many hours working on the family farm along with her sister Lavina. Never having a strong constitution, it made life hard. Having a good singing voice, her and her sisters became known as the Brown Sisters and sang at many a church service and other events.
