Marge worked as a nursing assistant out of high school. She married Dick Stanislawski and together they had 3 children, Vincent, Marie and Rene.
In 1958, Marge remarried to Valerian Chyle and moved to the Chyle family farm outside of Lankin, North Dakota. Marge and Val together had 5 children, Valerie, Charles, Harold, Valerian and James.
Marge believed in education and encouraged her children to pursue learning and higher education. She was a hard worker and caretaker. She enjoyed working in her garden growing vegetables. She also harvested raspberries and June berries. She canned and preserved many fruits and vegetables every season. Marge loved her flowers; and birds. She raised chickens and ducks every year. Marge baked a minimum of 12 loaves of bread every week. In her spare time, which was hard to find, she loved to crochet and knit; she also dabbled in oil painting.
After leaving the farm, Marge worked as an aide at the Grafton State School for 13 years. She also worked for a time at the hospital in Park River. Through these careers, she was able to use her natural care taking skills to minister to many patients in those facilities. Marge was loved by patients and coworkers alike. She continued to grow a large vegetable garden and many beautiful flowers, paint, crochet and knit. Marge loved to feed wild birds and could sit and watch them for hours. She enjoyed riding her bike in the neighborhood and was very proud of her riding lawn mower. Marge doted over her pet dogs and cats, once her children were grown. She was quick witted and feisty; children, grandchildren, great grandchildren all carry a piece of her; we call this the Mudgie syndrome. She will be missed.
Marge is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Valerian, all 7 of her siblings, and her oldest son, Vince.
Marge is survived by her daughters, Marie Merrill (spouse Jim Merrill), Rene Glass (spouse Terry Glass), and Valerie Chyle (spouse Glenn Grandjean); her sons, Charles Chyle (spouse Karen), Harold Chyle (spouse Tami), Valerian Chyle (spouse Jessica) and James Chyle (spouse Rebecca); 21 grandchildren, as well as many great-grandchildren. She was very proud of her whole family and always said she loved them all the same, consistently denying any favorites.
