Marjorie Irene Lees
August 3, 1937 - September 24, 2025
On Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg, Marjorie Lees (nee Walker) age 88 passed away with her family at her side.
She is survived by her husband Bob; and daughters, Shelley (Darren) Seekings, and Sandy Manness (Randy Ladobruk); Grandchildren Ryan (Olivia), Jennifer (Chris), Brianne, Devin; and Great Granddaughter Cora.
Marge was predeceased by her parents Fred and Alice, sister Gladys, brothers Ed (sister-in-law Rose), Wes (sister-in-law Jean), Don (sister-in-law Barb).
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Deer Lodge Tower 7 Special Needs Unit for the exceptional care and compassion given to Mom. At Mom's request, cremation has taken place, and a family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Deer Lodge Centre Foundation.
Mom wrote this personal note for her family who were her pride & joy..."To you all, I'll always be around you. Riding a drop of rain, maybe a snowflake landing on your nose, or whisper in the wind. I'll always be there, somewhere, look around. Love Mom (Grandma)"
