Mary A. Collette age 61 of Grafton, ND passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Unity Hospital of Grafton, ND.
Mary A. Collette was born September 9, 1964 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Antonio and Beverly (Staffne) Collette. She grew up and attended school in Grafton, graduating in 1983. Mary worked as a CAN at the Life Skills and Transition Center for 25 years until her health forced her to retire.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed working word finds, crosswords, and puzzles. She loved to crotchet, listen to country music, especially Alabama, watching old television shows and collecting glass birds.
Mary is survived by her siblings: Matthew Collette, Timothy (Pam) Collette and Jeff Collette all of Grafton and Patricia (Jay) Mayer of Grand Forks, one niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Michelle.
Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, May 23rd at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. The service will be live streamed on the Tollefson Funeral Home Website.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to the American Cancer Society or the ALS Society.
