Mary-Anne started working at the Lucky Dollar in Swan-Lake, MB, then went on to work at the Lorne Memorial Hospital and later moved to Morden, MB, where she worked at the South-Central Regional Library in Morden, MB, where she retired after many years of service.
Mary-Anne and Ed were social butterflies and loved to be with friends, whether it was out for coffee, attending some type of event, or just hanging out in the lobby of their apartment block. Together they travelled to many destinations and always had stories to share upon their return. Mary-Anne always had a smile on her face and was always up for a good laugh. She was an inspiration to many and despite some lifelong challenges, she always remained positive and was willing to lend a hand at any time. Mary-Anne made many handmade quilts that she gifted to family and friends, that they can now cherish in her memory.
Funeral services will be held at Doyle’s Funeral Home at 10 4th Ave SE in Carman, MB on Thursday July 25 at 11:00 a.m.
Thank you to all the friends and family that have helped us though this difficult journey. Very special thanks to Dr. Atchison and the wonderful nursing staff at the Carman Memorial Hospital who showed such compassion and concern while they cared for Mary-Anne.
