Mary Ellen Peterson graduated to her heavenly home on February 12, 2025, at Cavalier, ND. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home in Cavalier.
Mary Ellen Clark was born October 23, 1942, at Walhalla, ND to Manuel and Helen (Longie) Clark, where she was raised.
She was a proud mother to four children, grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
Mary is survived by four children, Pastor Fidel (Mary) Hughes of Arizona, Pastor Milfred (Pamela) Hughes of Florida, Suellen (Bill) McFarland of California, and Aleta Peterson of North Dakota. She is also survived by her sisters, Vionne Peterson, Cavalier, ND, Stella Styles, Walhalla, ND, Gladys (Darrell) Solebakken, Glenburn, ND, and Barbara Dearinger, Leroy, ND.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Raymond Peterson, sisters, Alice and Dorothy and brothers, Tommy, Allen, and Robert.
