A celebration of Mike's life will be held from 1:30PM-4:30PM on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Mulligan's Restaurant & Lounge, Winkler (400-15th St.) In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory can be made to the Morden Curling Club.

Michael Wayne Oberg (Mike) passed away suddenly on Saturday March 25, 2023 at age 61.
He was born December 20, 1961 in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Merle and Kathryn (Kathy). He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Karen; 3 wonderful children, Jarilynn (Justin), Gary (Abby) and Carlene (Michael). He also leaves behind the greatest joys of his life: his grandsons, Leon and Beau. He is also survived by siblings, Marlene (Denis), Karen (Dwight), plus numerous nieces and nephews, special friends and extended family.
Mike had a zest for life. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, creative handyman, electrician, carpenter, coach, mentor, curler, biker, and gracious host. He always kept busy and could be found working on some project any day of the year or lending a helping hand. He loved his time with his family and friends and spending time at the cabin but his greatest pride and joy were his grandsons.
