Our loving mother Mildred Malmquist peacefully passed away at the age of 98 surrounded by her family.
Mom lived a long and fulfilled life. She loved spending time with family and in her later years reconnecting with friends on the phone. When mom wasn’t cleaning, she loved to bake, read and do word search.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Linda, Sandra (Ken), Terry (Judy), Elve (Willie), Ingrid (Rick), 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Her loving brother Don (Doreen). She was predeceased by her beloved husband Eric and son Orville.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would also like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Boyne Lodge. A place mom called home for the last five and a half years.
