July 8, 1966 - January 12, 2026
Peter Neufeld aged 59 was born on July 8th 1966 in Tillsenberg Ontario to Peter and Maria Neufeld.
He is survived by his wife Susan, his four children Amanda(Ron), Julie, Peter and Ryan, and 4 grandchildren. Also his mother Maria, 9 siblings and their families.
He is predeceased by his father Peter Neufeld in 2016 and a sister Lisa in infancy, his father in law Benjamin Froese in 2005, and two grandchildren in infancy. Pete was baptized by the confession of his faith in July of 1986.
Pete married Susan July 27th 1986. They lived in Ontario for the summer, and then moved to Manitoba where he worked at Lode King for many years. They had 4 children in this time. In approximately 2012 they decided to move to Beaubier Saskatchewan to works for a farmer. Pete worked there for while before he suffered a severe head injury and shortly after suffered a stroke. After this, life took a turn for Pete where he had many struggles trying but not being able to keep a job. At this point he leaned on God more than ever and did say often that if he didn’t have God in his life he wouldn’t know where he would be. He did work for a short time as a mechanic but physically was not able to continue. Pete was between Manitoba and Saskatchewan a lot during this time. In his last years he and his son Peter lived together in Saskatoon until the day of Pete’s death on January 12th 2026. On January 11th Peter arrived home and found his dad lying on the couch and in the morning Peter found Pete still lying in the same Position, having peaceful died in his sleep.
Pete enjoyed fishing and hunting with his kids and when in Manitoba with his brothers. This was his happy place. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren just as much as he loved his Tim Hortons coffees!
He also really enjoyed tinkering on vehicles and doing mechanics work when he could. Pete will be remembered for the stories he loved to tell.
