Reginald A. Ebertowski, age 77 of Grafton, ND, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Unity Medical Center of Grafton.
Reginald was born September 4, 1947 in Grafton, ND, the son of the late Adolph and Loretta (Kosmatka) Ebertowski. He grew up and attended school there, graduating from Grafton High School. Following his education he enlisted in the National Guard. He returned to Grafton and was united in marriage to Genny Osowski on September 1, 1966 in Grafton. He worked as a salesman at Reyleck’s and later owned Red’s Sporting Goods. He worked at the Grafton State School before moving to Grand Forks. He married Kathy Duray and the couple made their home in Grand Forks where he worked at Silverman’s and Old Dutch before purchasing a C-Store. Due to failing health, he moved into the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.
He was a former member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Reginald is survived by his sons: Terry (Kathy) Ebertowski, Grafton, ND, and Shane Ebertowski, Grand Forks, ND; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings: Rodney (Phyllis) Ebertowski, Grafton, ND and Reed (Sherry) Ebertowski, Crescent, IA; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Russell.
Memorial services will be Monday, September 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided by the Grafton American Legion Post #41 and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard. Inurnment will be at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery of Grafton, ND.
