Robert J. Crotty, age 67 of Grafton, ND passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Lutheran Sunset Home.
Robert Joseph Crotty was born May 2, 1957 in Grafton to the late Dominic and Rose Marie (Monette) Crotty. He was raised in Pembina, ND and attended Pembina Public Schools. After his education he began working for MCI in Pembina. After a move to Drayton, ND he began working for Refuse Disposal, where he worked for many years. Robert relocated to Grafton where he has lived for the last 15 years. He worked for Pamida, Shopko and lastly Hugo’s before his health required him to retire. He moved into the Lutheran Sunset in April of 2022.
Robert enjoyed camping, fishing, and driving snow cats. He was a serious Crotty family poker player and loved spending time with his siblings. Robert was a great cook and like to cook for others.
Robert is survived by his siblings: Michael (Margaret) Crotty, Grafton, ND, Kathy (Jerry) Boseman, Grand Forks, ND; Randy Crotty, Philippines, Gary Crotty, Pembina, ND, and Michelle (Donald) Schuler, and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Services are pending. Inurnment will take place at Pembina Cemetery in Pembina, ND.
