Rodney George Wieler went to glory at the age of 80 years on September 1st, 2024.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Marg, and daughters Bobbi (Ron), Josie (Chris), Suzy (Eric), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Rodney is survived by 3 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, 1 great grandson and a brother.
Rod was born in Winkler, September 3, 1943. He attended school in Schoenwiese and got married in 1964.
He spent most of his life farming. He also took a special interest in music, fishing and flying his airplane.
He was baptized upon the confession of his faith on July 14th 2002.
They retired to Winkler in 2011. He spent his last year at Salem Home personal care. The family greatly appreciated the loving care and support from Home Care and Salem staff.
