Roger was born January 1, 1955 in Grafton, ND, the son of the late Hilary and Evelyn (Grabanski) Feltman. He grew up near Warsaw and attended St. Anthony’s Convent and later graduated from Minto High School. Following his education, he farmed with his dad and brothers. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Grembowski on November 15, 1975 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Warsaw. The couple made their home in Warsaw and he continued farming and working as a carpenter. In recent years he had stopped the carpentry work and focused on farming.
He was a member of the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Warsaw where he had served as a trustee and on parish council for many years. He was a member of the Rosary Society, Knights of Columbus, church choir and of the 3rd Order Franciscans of Mary Immaculate. His Catholic faith was very important to him, and he was very proud of his polish heritage. He often entered someone’s home and greeted them “Praised by Jesus Christ! Now and forever! Amen” in polish. He was a great story teller and loved to visit with anyone. He always saw the good in people and gave anyone a second chance. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren, teaching them life lessons they will never forget. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne, Warsaw, ND; children: Tony (Beth) Feltman, Colorado Springs, CO, Bryan Feltman, Park River, ND, Kayla (JJ) Houlton, Colorado Springs, CO; 4 grandchildren: Crewen, Duncan, Sullivan, and Grifinn; siblings: Maurice (Mary Beth) Feltman, Wayne Feltman, and Neal (Dawn) Feltman, all of Warsaw, ND; mother-in-law Cecelia Grembowski, East Grand Forks, MN, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, nephew Wyatt Feltman and father-in-law Mike Grembowski.
