Rosalyn leaves behind her devoted partner, Lucas Gauthier; her parents, Jim and Dianne Toews; her beloved daughters, Daphne (Matt) Taylor and Laura; her stepsons, Connor and Rhodes; her cherished grandchildren, Isaac and Maribella; and her siblings Ryan and Crystal (Kirstyn), Ian and Samara (Marian and Mack), and Wayne and Bailey (Nash and Nolan). She will also be deeply missed by her extended family and many dear friends.
Born on November 20, 1978, in Morden, Manitoba, Rosalyn was raised in Roland, Manitoba. Her career path led her to office work at Trainor Laboratories in Winnipeg and eventually to Portage Mutual Insurance in Portage la Prairie, where she worked as an Underwriter, forming lasting friendships with many co-workers along the way.
Rosalyn had a gentle spirit and a truly kind heart. She had a passion for reading and loved playing the piano and listening to music. Some of her favorite moments were spent watching the sunset with a good cup of coffee in hand—quiet, peaceful moments that reflected who she was at her core. Her warmth, compassion, and beautiful soul touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rosalyn will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she graced.
