March 3, 1948 - September 26, 2025
With his sons by his side, Ross passed away at Boundary Trails Hospital.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons Ryan (Tracie; grandsons Spencer and Hudson) and Kevin (Kelsie; granddaughters Kayleigh and Sydney) His brother Myles Bell (Heather), sister Diane Bell and sister-in-law Antonette Dickinson, many nephews, nieces and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Margot, mother Helen Bell and father Robert Bell.
Ross loved puttering in his shop, mowing grass and bringing his many treasures found to the farm. He enjoyed watching his grandkids at various sport events and theatre plays. He made many memories camping and spending time with family and friends.
Ross spent most of his working career with the Manitoba Highways Department. He made many friends along the way, and his co-workers always spoke highly of him. After retiring from the Highways Department in 2009, it didn’t take long for him to find several other jobs. Dad also farmed for many years and really enjoyed harvest time as many people were around to talk to and laugh with. Dad was happy when he was working. After Mom passed away in 2011, Dad moved to various communities but always returned home to Roland. Dad was involved with the Boy Scouts in Roland and was an active member of the Masonic Lodge. He had a special place in his heart from Siloam Mission and enjoyed many days volunteering in Winnipeg. He was well known for just showing up to visit and was always welcomed wherever he went.
