Ryan Neil Wiebe
August 10, 1967 - December 9, 2024
On December 9th, 2024 Ryan Neil Wiebe of Morden, MB passed away at age 57 after an arduous journey with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). He passed at home peacefully in the presence of his wife, children, and caretaker.
Ryan was born to John and Helen (Nee Nickel) Wiebe of Plum Coulee on August 10th, 1967 as the youngest of three siblings. He spent his adult life working for Manitoba Hydro as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, retiring as the Eastman Maintenance Planner, and all the while pursuing his passion for farming with his dad on the family farm South of Plum Coulee.
He will be remembered for his love for feeding the world (through the farm), mathematics, rock and roll, and new experiences.
Ryan was survived by his wife of 27 years, Leanne (nee Foussard) Wiebe, daughter Tea, son Nic, father John, mother Helen, Sister Gail (Merv), Brother Vern (Maggie), Brother in law Merv, Sister in law Maggie, nieces and nephews, mother in law Marie, and Brother in law Mike.
We as a family want to genuinely thank all who loved and supported us so well through this journey. The family and friends who were present, Laarni Oquialda Atienza and others from Heavenly Care Agency, Deanne Montieth and others from the BTHC Home Palliative Care Program, the ALS Society, and Jake Giesbrecht from Wiebe Funeral Home.
