Sadly, Sandra Faye Moe, passed away at First Care Health Center on May 16, 2023 from complications of diabetes.
Sandra Faye Dahl was born in Grafton, North Dakota on December 27, 1951 to Spencer and Inez (Lien) Dahl. She was raised in Park River, ND and the surrounding area. She married Eugene Petrick on February 7, 1970. Tragically, Eugene, a Vietnam Vet, was killed in a car accident in 1973. Sandy later married Gaylin Moe on August 6, 1977. They were married 45 years. Sandy worked a variety of jobs throughout her lifetime. Her favorite was driving truck for Thompson Bros. Certified Seed, during potato harvest. She enjoyed camping, traveling, working outdoors and having fun times.
She is survived by her husband Gaylin, sons: Rick Petrick, McAlester, OK, Michael (Dawn) Petrick, Broomfield, CO; grandsons: Daniel, Joseph, and Christopher; three great grandsons and one great granddaughter; sisters: JoAnn Mastre, Park River, ND and Melinda (Steve) Shambaugh, Crystal, ND; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry Dahl, in-laws, and brother-in-law Merlyn Moe. Per Sandy’s request, there will be no funeral. A committal service for family will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to First Care Health Center, Park River Ambulance or a charity of your choice.
