Steven L. Armstrong, 61, of Crystal, ND, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home.
Steven was born December 6, 1964, at Cavalier, ND, to Laverne and Katherine (Doyle) Armstrong. At the age three years old the family moved to Seattle, WA where he attended school. In 1999, he moved back to Cavalier, ND, where he worked as a carpenter with Harry Pelletier and at Crystal Grain.
Some of the things that Steven enjoyed were playing pool and lawn mower racing.
He is survived by his children: Krystal Armstrong, Walhalla, ND and Jackson Armstrong, Crystal, ND; grandson, Ivan Sapa; mother, Katherine Armstrong, Cavalier, ND; siblings: Tina Armstrong and Brenda Christoffer, both of Cavalier, ND.
He was preceded in death by his father, Laverne.
