(nee Rachul)
June 29, 1967 - July 13, 2025
It is with heavy but relieved and peaceful hearts that we announce the passing of Tracey Michelle Fehr, on July 13, 2025, at Boundary Trails Health Center, with her devoted husband and family by her side. After a 5-year long battle with cancer, Tracey fought bravely and with poise right till the very end, accepting and at peace with her fate.
Tracey was born in Morden, MB, at the Morden General Hospital on June 29, 1967, to Ronald and Elizabeth Rachul. Tracey grew up with Stanley Park as her front yard at the family farm just southwest of Morden. Tracey was one of 4 children, two sisters, Robin and Renee, and little brother Derrick.
Tracey married the love of her life, Frank Fehr, on Sunday, November 9, 1986. Originally scheduled for November 8, but due to a very big snowstorm had to be postponed a day. Despite that, nothing could stop their love and nuptials, truly a weekend everyone will remember, and often a topic of discussion at family gatherings.
Tracey attended Bible School in Regina studying for a short time until her return to Morden. She worked for the Town of Morden in administration until Tracey started working as a receptionist at Gislason Targownik Peters in the fall of ’86. After much hard work and juggling two young children at home, Tracey received her accountant degree in the fall of 1995 and dedicated the rest of her working life to GTP, where she worked till she received her cancer diagnosis in July 2020.
Tracey and Frank welcomed three lovely children into the world. Kyle Braden Fehr, on October 3, 1990. Followed by Taryn Camille Fehr on July 15, 1992, and finally Tyra Celine Fehr, born August 18, 1999, completing their family. The family enjoyed many trips together, lots of sports and family functions, and a lot of love over the years as her son and daughters welcomed their partners and children to the family. Tracey welcomed each one with open and loving arms, and treated them as if they were her own, especially her three precious grandchildren. One of which she had the honor of meeting, gratefully, before the end, in March 2025.
Tracey and Frank enjoyed spending much of their free time with beloved friends, Don and Sheila Bergen, and Bevan and Sandra Wiebe, enjoying many coffee and supper dates, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and family gatherings. She devoted time to being Treasurer of Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Tracey enjoyed reading in her spare time, especially romance and mystery novels. She loved to spend time with family, her son and daughters and grandchildren, always making sure they had everything they needed and wanted. Tracey was the Toronto Blue Jays #1 fan, and you could bet on game days she would have it on the TV, watching, cheering and yelling in frustration.
Above all else, Tracey was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandma. Her family and grandchildren were her most precious achievement and she worked diligently and selflessly to keep everyone on track. As mentioned above, Tracey was an avid and true Blue Jays fan and the family embarked on her last trip to Toronto in September 2023 where we made lasting memories watching Blue Jays games and enjoying each others company. The most fitting send off.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank, of 39 years, son Kyle (Ashley), grandson Forest, and granddaughters, Kinley and Calla, daughters Taryn (Shondell) and Tyra (Jadan), and her shadow, dog companion, Charli, and family, parents Ron and Betty Rachul, sisters, Robin (Kerry), Renee (Dave), and brother Derrick (Bonnah). As well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters/brothers in law, and many special friends. Also lovingly remembering Tracey, her best friends who have become family, Don and Sheila Bergen, and Sandra and Bevan Wiebe.
Tracey was predeceased by her grandparents Peter and Elizabeth Hoeppner, and Edward and Bertha Rachul, as well as parents in law, Nettie and John Fehr.
The family would like to extend many thanks and gratitude to all staff at Boundary Trails Health Center, especially Medical and Cancer Care staff, for the excellent and careful care Tracey received during her end of life.
A celebration of Tracey’s life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Morden Alliance Church. In memory of Tracey, donations may be made to Morden Alliance Church Missions or Boundary Trails Health Center Foundation (Cancer Care Unit).
